I've had the pleasure to play with David Montgomery out of Arlington, TX for the past few months. I'm sure that he'll never make the "hall of fame" BUT he has consistently played solid intros, rides and fills on each and every song he does. Should you ever meet him you'll quickly see that he's a great guy, as well. He does his black emmons proud! |

'that he'll never make the hall of fame' isn't really a glowing recommendation, but i think we know what you mean. i'll never make the hall of fame either, so at least he's in good company. |

I hope this post is unnecessary. What I'm trying to say that if I ever get to play with a great steel player, I would be honored to have it be David. He's an outstanding musician, and a gentleman! |
