I have a black Emmons short key head and the # stamped under the guitar is 254L or 2541, I really think it say's 254L but not sure.
It does say Legrande on the front left side.
If you can help me with what I have I would appreciate it very much, and thanks.

Bill not sure about the year.I have 253L.It's not for sale. It's the guitar I use to compare all the others I own or have owned.Nothing has come close.Tone wise. However not all short key head Legrandes sound this good.I have owned several.I bought it 2nd hand.I've always called it an 82.Bobbe Seymour should know.If not the folks at Emmons will be glad to help. But you will have to call.
