beautiful Sierra S-12, 6+5, rosewood mica. I bought this guitar with an idea to experiment with my own tuning but I have no time or enough knowledge to do anything like that, so here it goes.Guitar is tuned to E9 ext. right now and has 5 knees and 6 pedals, there was 2 more pedals but someone took it off, so all the rods are in the guitar if you want to add 2 more pedals. It comes with a solid Anvil case wich will protect this guitar real good, but inside of the case is little rough...Guitar sounds amazing and plays great. trade for a D-10 guitar.Thanks.

Db

(I'll take 100 bucks off if you take the Nashville cat with the guitar)

I'm looking at a few possible trades right now, I would actually like to trade for D-10 more then sell it, because I'd like to have a guitar to play, and on top of that , economy is pretty rough right now anyway...so it looks like this beauty will be more then likely, traded for a D-10 soon... this is a wonderful guitar, I just have no time or patience to start learning 12 string right now...too old and lazy for that..LOL...

this instrument has a beautiful tone and I actually start to like that weird tuning, upper part is mostly regular E9 but lower part is weird (at least to me LOL) ..if I don't find any interesting trades soon I'll probably just keep it...I'll just have to figure out what to do with all these pedals...LOL

Damir, I urge you to hang onto this great guitar. Here is my setup which is real simple and gets 95% of both E9 and C6 changes. It's on both my Zum and my Sierra S-12 guitars. Six pedals and 5 knees.

If you just can't get the hang of the universal after years of playing a D-10, I understand. For anyone considering buying this Sierra guitar, take a look at this shot of the underside of my Sierra. It's built like a Swiss watch. The build quality, design and function is superior to most and the tone is as good as it gets. PP owners will challenge me on this and that's OK, I happen to love the sound of my Sierra.

If you do you'll love the new stuff you can play on the low strings. With my setup, the notes and changes on strings 10, 11 and 12 are virtually the same as on strings 3, 4 and 5--you can duplicate all the riffs and runs you already know--one octave lower. Also you can get rhythm riffs similar to those on standard guitar. With the low B you're getting into baritone guitar range. Also, you don't have to stumble over that pesky D note.* Big fun Winking

*If you want that D, you play the note with pedal 6. It's a cool effect.

ok, now that makes sense , 10.11, and 12th string are tuned like that, I didnt know, I tought 10th string was out of tune..LOL ..what a moron huh? ... well, now I only have to buy a tuner and tune it back how it was, I play so often that I don't even know where my tuner is.. Rolling Eyes
