Very good condition Gold Tone 8-string lap steel. I bought this a year ago to prep learning C6th, but I never got farther than putting appropriate strings on it (it came strung for F6). It has a total of about one hour playing time and has literally never left my music room.
I had this for sale a few weeks back, and that time I was able to say "Not a scratch on it." While that ad was up I was moving it around trying to get a picture of a barely perceptible imperfection in the lacquer on the back of the neck, when I bumped it against something and created a bruise in the finish on the back edge of the neck (see last pic below). Rather than have to change the listed condition, I pulled the ad at that time so that I could repost later and start from scratch (no pun intended!)
Everything functions perfectly. I bought this without a case and am selling it the same way. As I said, it never left my room, so I never got as far as worrying about a case. It will be packed accordingly (i.e., prepared for battle with the shipping industry). If the buyer intends to buy a case for it and would like it shipped with one, he or she could have the case sent directly to me when they purchase the case. Elderly Instruments sells one for $126 (http://elderly.com/also/accessories/items/GCGT-LS.htm.
asking $400 plus shipping
