San Antonio Steel Guitar and Western Swing Jam Session will be May 6, 2012 at the Converse American Legion Hall from 2 pm until 5 pm. All steel guitar players are invited no matter what your playing skill. We also need a bass player and a keyboard player to round out our band. We do invite all western swing musicians and singers.
We will have a "For Sale or Trade" table set up for those who might have equipment for sale. Cds, amps, guitars, etc. Please nothing that eats, smells, grows, or illegal. We've had a great deal of fun and are looking for more and more good times.
The Converse American Legion sells a lunch for around 5.00 and has the canteen open for your favorite beverage. Free popcorn too.
I want to Thank Ken Piper and Brian Folks for running the jam session on April 1, 2012. I was not able to attend account of a much kneaded knee replacement but I will be back on May 6. Hope to see you at our jam session...Joe Rouse |
