My younger brother Larry passed away last night from complications of vascular disease, kidney failure, and diabetes. He was 61. His birthday would have been this Wednesday.
Larry taught himself how to play guitar in his early teens, and was duplicating many of Roy Clark's instrumental playing by listening to his records. He could play Roy's version of Malaquena exactly like Roy. He arranged the William Tell Overture for 4 part guitars, and played all 4 parts himself.
He was gifted in electronics and was able to design and build components for hearing aids at the company he worked at for over 25 years.
He is survived by his wife Kerri, two sons, Noah and Aaron, two grandchildren, Isabelle, and Mason, his sisters Doris, Leann, Trudy, brother Tom and myself.
Funeral arrangements are in the making. He will be missed by all, and his music will be missed by me most of all.

My condolences to you and your family, Dennis. He sounds like a very interesting guy and he did something to improve the quality of life of others. I love electronics wizards. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Dennis, I'm sorry for your loss. I still remember the CD you gave me with Larry's fine guitar playing. He was a talented musician. You and your family are in my thoughts.

It's never easy to lose a brother, I did and I can understand your heartbreak. May he rest in peace and may your family be comforted by our Lord. |
