Who can shed some light on the brand and aprox. age of this old D-10?
It is pull/release and actually sound pretty good.
Any help will be appreciated. Very Happy

Looks like a Miller to me, a 60's-70's Sho Bud knockoff.

Thanks Herb, it has a Sho~Bud decal on the front but I know it ain't no Bud.

It is a MILLER undercarriage....I have one I am in the proccess of restoring .
Never saw that type of inlay tho..Kind of neat..

I played lead for a Guy named Chuck Lively in the late 70's it is DEF a Miller Chuck had one I remember it

I love the aftermarket handles! James Morehead has handles that are probably in the original style.

That most definitely is a Miller, and the handles are not an after-market add-on. The handles were standard on Millers. FWIW I just ran into Roger a few weeks ago while playing at the rest home in Lacon IL where he has been residing for several years. His Alzheimer's is pretty well advanced now and he doesn't really remember much about steel guitars or having once made them (in nearby Chillicothe IL).
That guitar appears to be in fine shape!!!

I don't know about the mechanics, but the Miller guitars sure have nice looking cabinet wood and inlays. They give Sho-Bud some stiff competition in the 'eye candy' department. Very Happy
