This is a D-10 Pro-II 8+6, that I totally rebuilt about 3 years ago. It has been a bedroom guitar primarily (2 gigs, 1 steel jam). $3350 + shipping

I replaced all the pot-metal parts with:

Coop-built Aluminum changers (20 fingers, new)
NOS 2-Hole Pullers, rods and cross-shafts (all)
6 Tear drop knee levers w/ brackets (all aluminum, new)

Also added:

New Legs (4)
Refinished Front Apron

Tony I don't even like Sho Buds but man I would buy this one, That is one of the best looking Pedal Steels I ever saw,I bet it has a great tone also:).
This wouldn't last 10minutes in a good economy..!
Someone will get a nice one...

Thanks, Bill. You're 100% right. It sounds amazing. It's actually a much better guitar now than when it was brand new.

I'd love to keep it, but I have another guitar/project on the way. At this point, owning four guitars while not gigging seems excessive, so I'm selling this one. Crying or Very sad

Well and to further the description...ha...it is a "The Pro-II Custom". In it's original form; it was the narrow slick pedals with curved knees and round cross shafts..probably from right in the '76 to '77 area.
This was VERY nicely redone with Coop parts...and would be an awesome playing/sounding shobud for anyone.
Ricky

I've had several inquiries re the ShoBud

- pickups: original single coil, Sho Buds

- pedals = Emmons set up on E9th, standard peds 4-8 on C6th

- Knee levers:

````LKL 4+8 E to F
````LKR 4+8 E to Eb

````LKV 5 and 10 to Bb
````LKL2 C-neck = 7th pedal (to use strings 5,6,7 w/o dbl pedaling)

````RKL E9th: 1 to G#, 2 to E / C6th: 3 to B
````RKR 2 to D-->C# (1/2 step), C6th: can't recall

Very Happy This is a dream boat Tony, It brings me back to my old Bud, except for the color and Aluminum necks It had. This will make someone a dream ride. I don't know if many of you know Tony is a master of pedal steel building. When I was in Portland Tony reworked a Push pull Emmons for me that was a nitemare before he gave it his touch. He also was building Sierra's along with my other pal, Larry "That Tone" Behm. This one will be gone in three days.
