I will be playing steel with Casey James and his new band next Wednesday the 21st on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Thursday the 22nd on the Today Show. I just started working with Casey a few weeks ago, and am very excited about the gig. Casey is as much a blues and rock guy as he is country, but he loves the steel guitar!

Thanks Theresa! Yes #1 would be nice! Either way, I think he will have a big crossover audience. It could be a cool opportunity to play in front of a lot of people who aren't so familiar with the steel guitar.

Thanks for posting the clips Mike! I think the steel cut through the mix a little better on the Today Show.
Hopefully you will be hearing more from Casey. There are a lot of great songs on his new album, plus he has a bunch more that didn't make this album!

Thanks for the compliments, and for checking out the shows. We sure had a great time last week. (even though we had to be up at 3 am. to set up and sound check for the Today Show!) Lots of tour dates coming in every day, it looks like this is going to be a busy year for us!
