Just received the new Eminence speaker from Kevin Hatton, great guy to deal with. This is a 1980 LTD 400 that I built a new cabinet for. Used 3/4 birch plywood built to the same size as the original cabinet, had an effects loop installed. I had been using this amp off and on for a few years and it was always one of my favorites, I wanted to see if I could come up with an amp that would offer all the things that I liked. I'm very happy so far, it is compact, plenty of power, great tone, effects loop, and weighs in at 40 and one half pounds! Two pounds lighter than my Nashville 112. The Eminence speaker right out of the box sounds good, should be interesting to hear the tone as the speaker breaks in.

Dang! I knew somebody would pick off those Marshall knobs, oh well, they look better than the stock knobs did. Thanks for the compliments! _________________ Dave |
