It appears that someone took some Fender parts and added them to a different guitar, perhaps a Japanese Guyatone or similar instrument. It definitely isn't any Fender model I've ever seen.

Ron,
That guitar never originated with Leo Fender. It is a guitar cobbled together by someone. There are some Fender components present ie: the pickups and the Fender tag. However, the tuners have no resemblence to Fender, whatsoever. |

Guyatone made a very good copy of a Fender. This is NOT even a Guyatone. |

At $799 I think it is way overpriced. The end view of the body suggests that it might have started out as a plank from Home Depot.

I tried to tell him about changing the title and description as it's not a Fender, but decided to leave it as listed.
