Yeah buddy! I'm humbled by your praise, happy to be here doing what i do.

I want so badly to record a CD, I'm into all sorts of styles and things, so it's been hard for me to narrow it down...therefore I record mainly in my home studio. Still working on those skills, so everything i post is DIY. However...I am entering a studio at the end of this month, and will definitely include my steel guitar on those sessions.

As for the "2nd tuning" EC#G#F#DB...I started with E7 (EBG#EDB) and at the suggestion of fellow forumites, I fooled around with it. Ending up with the "E-whatever you wanna call it-7". I guess Noel Boggs used it, but i don't know. I like it, even though I am not familiar with it, but it has a Phat sound, if you know what i mean!

I use the C6 tuning for both heads, and the "E" tuning (whatever you call it E13, whatever) for the gliss between phrases. I solo on the C6 for the 1st 2 choruses, then a little standard guitar solo, just 2 break it up a bit, then finish the last 2 chorus's with the E13ish tuning.

Gonna go try and get some work done now. Thanks again for your kind comment! ~Chris
