Joanie and I just want to thank you for such a great time in Dallas. Everyone sure made us feel so appreciated. We got to visit with some old friends and meet a lot of new ones.

What a treat to get to hear Paul Franklin, “Master of the STEEL” and Johnny Bush, “Master of the VOCAL”, on the same night! Two of my heroes.

A special thanks to Jeff and Gloria Surratt, with SHOW PRO STEEL GUITARS for all their hard work. We had lots of fun in the SHOW PRO ROOM.

Also thanks to my buddy Jim Hartley for playing drums with us. “Great job Jim”. And what a blessing for all of us to get to enjoy Hank Singer. One of the greatest fiddle players in the world. “Hank, you are amazing, my friend!”

Again, thanks so much to all, for the warm reception. What a great week-end for STEEL GUITAR!
Sincerely, Mike Johnson

Thank you Mike.

It was a treat to meet you and Joanie this year.

Listening to you guys play in the Show Pro Room was one of the highlights of my weekend.

Cheers,

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it this year (again, damn it). Mad

Although I would have loved to see all the players, I think I would have wanted to see you and Joanie the most. I just can't get enough of your playing.

Mike
It is always subjective, but for me you had the tone of the weekend. We Brits enjoyed your playing on stage and in the Show Pro room. We also appreciated your humour and easy going personality, and you are a great ambassador for Jeff and his wonderful guitars.

Looks like the second cord goes to the battery powered tuning machine turner or whatever you call it on the seat next to him.

Really enjoyed your show along with Joannie's great vocals and bass playing and also Hank Singer, my favorite fiddler. You all are a top class act and it's always a pleasure to visit with such nice and talented people. Hope to hear you again soon--- Henry

Mike. I want to thank you and Joanie for reminding me why i started playing music in the first place, and making me feel like playing again. Exclamation
Watching you folks play in she Show-Pro room was one of the highlights this year again. That music and that atmosphere alone made the trip across the pond worth while.
I know getting up on that stage is nerve wrecking for all you top players, but it shouldn't be. No one of you have anything to prove to "us deadly" and i only wish the sets were twice as long. Smile
I really hope to see you next year again.
