I have an "original" E-Bow,that doesn't "bow" anymore. I tried replacing the 9 volt battery,w/ no success. Are these things repairable or not. If they are,who does the work? |

Hey, Smiley, how are ye?
If it's the original two string model, I had one go south on me years ago. The manufacturer can't repair them, the guts are encapsulated in solid phenolic. I had several people take a stab at repair with no luck.
Hope you have better luck! _________________ Stop by the Steel Store at: www.markvanallen.com

There's really no 'moving parts', per se, to break nor wear, so
be certain that the problem might be only that one of the wires
to the battery clip has not broken from replacing the battery.
I've had this happen to mine several time over the years.
You can buy replacement battery connectors inexpensively
and splice them to the existing leads coming from the unit.

Smiley, I've got an old snare strainer that I attached to a broken pool cue, and plugged it in to 110V, I would be willing to take $5.00 for what's left of it to help with medical bills. Nothing major mostly just finger tips. Yore old old old buddy from way back...Corky Tittle seacorkone@yahoo.com |
