My friend Mike just gave me the Gene Watson stuff he worked on with Sonny, recently. All I can say is WOW.
Excellent treatment of the early classic Watson hit's by Mike, and Sonny did the hit's he played on. Great tone, and they stayed true to the early production. Proud to have Mike using our guitar.

Mike is such a super picker and a great guy on top of that . Look forward to seeing you guys in Dallas and hearing Mike play his Show Pro . Gotta pick up one of those CDs . Jeff , you guys have a safe trip .

 Jeff i have Genes Gospel Cd and it's awesome . Great songs and great musicians . G.P. Oh by the way you are building some great looking and sounding steel guitars my friend . I have four steels and i don't think my bride would stand for another as you can imagine ! But it's not because i don't want one of yours ! |

I'm looking forward to hearing this album. Mike and Sonny are just such fine players and people. Of course, Gene sings great. I can't wait to hear what Mike played on Gene's hits that I originally played on. Now I'll get to hear what I probably should have played in the first place !!

Tiny, whenever I hired a new Steel player I would play the ride you took on 'Stagger Lee" on the farewell party bands album..Sort of gave them an ego check.  |
