Richard, Joe and I will be hosting the jam again. Come out and enjoy!

This year...My special guest will be Steve Palousek.

Jam starts after all of the scheduled players perform on Friday Night, March 9th.

Also..I'll have some products from GHS Strings to be given away at this event!

Murnel,

You three guys were GREAT last year! Also, I got to hear Steve for the first time in 2011, and really liked him too. This will be fabulous!!

I just played your version of Nameless Shuffle on my radio program in Austin this past Wednesday, Feb. 8th

Can't wait!!

Ted

Murnel, Joe, and Richard's jam set was my favorite at Dallas last year. That's where I'm going to be on Friday night. You've got to hear these guys to understand the possibilities of the steel guitar.

These guys have changed the Friday Night Jam into one of the highlights of the weekend. With the addition of Steve Palousek,it can only get better.

I conunted at least 200 people who stayed after midnight with these guys last year. At the 2:00 AM closing time,I counted 146 people still in the audience.

In comparison with the old format we maxed out at no more than 50 people. At closing time we had 8 people left in the room the last year we used the old format..

5 players playing "I Love You Because" for 15 or 20 minutes at 1 or 2 oclock in the morning, was apparently not the way to go.

Let Albert Talley know if you like the changed format. It was a great move on his part to make the change.

Now Jr. Knight, you do not need any notes. You are a superb player. Wish I could make this jam. I have heard nothing but good about these guys.

Chuck, it was Joe Rogers with the steel and squeeze boxes and Richard Comeaux on the other side of Steve. These guys are musicians with a capital M. ( I didn't know Rogers to be a cajun name, but it most surely is in this case. He's a dandy)

Danny, thanks so much for the compliments. My last name actually originated in Nova Scotia with the Acadians, so I am of direct Acadian descent. At the time of the expulsion, the name was Caissy dit Roger. Once in Louisiana, it was shortened to Roger, generations later it was "Americanized" to Rogers. My great great grandfather added the S. In a nutshell, I am related to ALL Roger(s) in Louisiana and any Rogers who is of that lineage, including the legendary accordion player Aldus Roger and the accordion builder John Roger.
