I saw a movie last night on the TCM channel, Starring
Ernest Tubb, "Hollywood Barn Dance" ca. 1947.
Does anyone know who played steel guitar for Ernest in the late 1940s?

I watched a little bit of that last nite too. Dont know who his steeler was then, but it the movie it was none other than Jerry Byrd.
