I made a really nice back-up track for this:

http://cattaneo.bandcamp.com/album/pedal-steel-play-along-tracks-vol-i

All real instruments, not Band-in-A-Box nor midi. I even have all the nylon guitar fills just like the original! Instrumentation, panning, everything faithful to the original recording from the album "Touch My Heart". Follow the link, download for free and let me know what you think!

Hi Jeff, I downloaded the track last night, and put it on a CD.
Thought I'd give it a try and see if I could actually play it. Laughing
I'm not a great player, but I listened to it 2 times and tryed it.
What a great track it is, and I learned to play it in a short time.
I can't use tab because of bad vision, but good tracks help me.
Thank you so much, your are a blessing to say the least. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Carl

Hi Carl, you're welcomed! I'm not sure who Jeff is, but I'm glad you're enjoying the track. It's a classic style and chord progression, so you can use it not only to recreate Buddy Emmons' original lines, but also insert any vocabulary you are currently working on, either backup or solos, and interact with the other instruments. Cheers!

Alex, sorry for getting your name wrong. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed That's what happens
when you get old and can't see good, and have those senior moments.
Any way I'll take time to thank you again. Great track. Very Happy Carl

Mike, you are one of my favorite contributors to this Forum, so I really appreciate your compliment!

I wanted to point out that I also tabbed a couple of ways to play the intro right here:

Many of you have asked me for more play-along tracks, so I'm happy to report that I have 5 more Ray Price classics ready on my Bandcamp page. "A Way To Survive" is still available as a free sample, and you can now get "Touch my Heart", "Sittin' and Thinkin", "The Other Woman", "An Eye For An Eye" and "The 24th Hour" for 10$. Some of that will be donated to the forum of course. Enjoy!
