| DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A HALF DOZEN OF THESES--I HAVE TRIED THE SPRING TYPE BUT THEY DO NOT HOLD LIKE THE OLDER CLIPS FOR LOCKING IN THE RODS TO THE PULLING CANTILEVERS |

Carol,
If you are referring to the flat, black, carburetor type of clip, they are not available. As far as I can determine, that was a custom manufactured part ordered by Sho-Bud. Lonnggg gone!
I've searched high and low for a replacement and so far have not found a source.
I would love to be able to source these.

Well shucks! That's the type of clip that my Pro II uses. Seems like I got a couple from James Morehead a few months ago. You might try him.

| im amazed at the extinction of shobud parts in general. i cant quit shaking my head at the cost of production. when i first went to a large machine shop near my house, they quoted me, and i s##t you not, 100 bucks to carve out a bellcrank. ONE BELLCRANK. |

Michael, I don't know how many James had, I just remember getting a couple from him along with some other parts. I can't remember if they were new or not, but they were in very good shape.

Machine shop setup time is expensive. If it's CNC work, they have to write the program. Any time you want machine work done like that, find out how many of the part they can actually make for that $100. You might be surprised. I'm sure it wouldn't $100 each for a quantity.

| i only have what came off the rods on a c6 part of an undercarriage. it wont be more than 6 to 8 maybe. i broke one getting it off. i'll check monday. |

This is a CAD model of one that I was given.
It's basically a very small carburetor linkage clip but I cannot locate any manufacturer that has them this small to fit a Ø.109" rod.
