For any of you enjoying the beauty of the steel guitar doing fabulous 'back-up' behind a vocalist, this is a tune for you.

It's JERRY BYRD on his Rickenbacher Bakelite lap steel guitar backing Red Kirk and the great Judy Perkins on an early Mercury record......"Fairy Tails". Go to: http://jerrybyrd-fanclub.com/ and then to Jerry's Music page.

The rich tones of that olde Ric are unmatched!
Enjoy!

Ray, that is a beautiful example. The vocal harmonies are excellent, too, and Jerry's playing blends to perfection with the voices.

It may help folks to know that the link to the song is at the bottom of the page Ray mentions. It's certainly worth a listen.
