Anybody know how the weight of an early 1980s BMI compares to other guitars? In the MSA Dekley range? or more like a newer guitar? My Fessy is just over 30 pounds. My Dekley was probably closer to 40. I did have chance to pick one up once and thought it was closer to my Fessy than my Dekley.

Any input will be welcome.

thanks,

Dan

Sure Dan...mine is late 70's or early 80's and is an S-10. On my bathroom scale in the case it's tipping in at just a little over 50 lbs. So without the case you can figure it's at least in MSA/ Dekley-land. Built like a tank.
