I was informed by Molly, Jack's daughter, that he passed away peacefully yesterday morning. If you never had the chance to meet Jack you missed out on a great experience. He was really one of a kind, and will be missed.

Only a private family service is planned, however if you'd like to send a card or flowers, the address is below.

RIP Jack...

6700 Corral Lane Denton, TX 76210

The "magnet" guy, Bill? I'm sorry to hear this. Although he drove some of the players nuts with his tone theories, I liked him and used one of his bars for several years. Rest in peace, Mr. Perkins.

This is sad news, I met Jack several times at the Dallas show and every meeting was a pleasure. Jack always had some interesting ideas.
Rest in peace Jack.

Yeah Dave, Jack was the 'magnet guy' and I still use one of his rattler bars today. He was one of those guys that just add variety to life, and despite his quirks and tone theories, he was fun to be around. I'll miss him..
