I've had an MB 200 for over a year now and really like the amp with a Tommy Huff cab. Just wondering if those with an MB 500 find that the variable contour control is used at a different setting other than full on or full off? The MB 200 just has a toggle switch and full on is pretty bright, but I don't really care for anything I've tried in the full off position. |

Another question. What guage speaker cable is adequate for the 500 watt amp? Can you get by with 16 guage, or should you use something heavier. Thanks |

I have the mb500 and like some of of the extra feachers on it, the contour is very useful i think, farther clockwise is more HIs and bass, counter clock wise more mid section, using it with the other EQs you have a lot of possibiltys, as far as the speaker cords im using 14 gauge wire but only about 6 ft long, that is plenty unless you want to run it a lot father like across the stage |
