First off: thanks top all who replied to my
question about lap steel stands. I found a
good one, used it at a gig yesterday and it worked great. Could use a little well-placed rubber, though, to give it better grip.

Now, does anyone have any ideas on where to find good hard shell cases for lap steels?

I've got an old chipboard case that loses another piece every time I open it. I also found a *very* thin baritone uke gig bag
that works...OK... but offers no protection.

I'd hate to see my babies get all banged up.

Thanks again Steelers.
