Chuck,
I think he was closing down his business, but your friend might want to contact Bruce Heffner in Hamburg PA. You can probably reach Bruce thru the Forum and send his contact information to your friend.

Hi Chuck,
There is a BMI pedal steel for sale in Jim Thorpe, check out the Allentown craigslist:
http://allentown.craigslist.org/msg/2851209242.html
This is a 70's unit that was converted from a D10 to SD10. Not sure if the price is good, I compared to previous sales here on the forum and it seems a little high, but I am no expert. |

Actually its a good price.. Look at the ad.. Includes a volume pedal, a pack seat, a bar,ALL the leftover parts from the conversion, and the guitar is a 5+5 E9 which is not easy to find in the used market.. To convert a 3 and 4 steel to a 5+5 is several hundred dollars.. If the guy would drop a hundred or two, it would be a smokin' deal, but its pretty fair already if the guitar is clean... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
