Hi, David, I just put one in my Williams- and while it has some different tonal characteristics, I'd put it roughly in the ShoBud camp. I'm absolutely thrilled with the pickup. It took me about 20 minutes to install and maybe 45 minutes to mostly dial it in. The PDF file from the Telonics website provides the needed setup and tweaking info, and the balance operation worked perfectly. I was able to dial in more or less growl, bite and chime very easily, and balance the output of the individual strings amazingly well. It might need some more tweaking after a bit more playing in different environments, but so far I'm totally pleased. Fantastic build quality.
