While this post is here I want to say that Mr. Mills is one of my all time favorite players.
Arnett, I will be playin your version of "I won't mention it again" at the 100th steel show in Saluda SC this Sunday. I honor you every time I play this tune because it is absolutely the best I have ever heard it played!
Hope to sit by ya one day and play it with you! All the best my friend!....KM _________________ www.youtube.com/krmsr59 |

I don't know how his steel is set up but what is so awesome is the way he phrases everything. If you have a heart, there is no way you don't feel the emotion in every note he plays.
There are very few i have heard that can reach a part of my heart that Arnett does! Tommy White and Lloyd Green come to mind when i hear Arnett play!
I sat in my basement for many many nights tryin to learn "I won't mention it again" as close to how he plays it but still listening to him, I have a ways to go!
I'm blessed to be around to hear him play!....thx Arnett!!!.....km _________________ www.youtube.com/krmsr59 |
