I've heard of people "loving" the steel guitar, but that's ridiculous! Laughing

A steel guitar technique that DOESN'T appear in a Jeffran or Paul Franklin teaching course.

Jeff,

That is actually World record speed holder Rollie Free in 1948 at the Bonneville Salt Flats on a British H.R.D. V-Twin.

On the last of 3 runs he donned the trunks in an effort to overcome parasite drag caused by the racing suit. It worked, his last run gave him an average speed of 150.313mph breaking a record set 11 years earlier by Joe Petralli.

I'm thinking he would have approved of J.W.'s technique! LMAO!

Pretty impressive, John. I suppose if you dump a bike at 150 it doesn't really matter if you have clothes on or not! And now you know the rest of the story...Rollie Free was the originator of the term "free-ballin'" Laughing

So far, so good, nice form on the zum "layout". When everyone's comfortable we'll put the zum in a trailer and try it at speed!
