Not knowing the mechanics that well of the steel guitar, I need some help.
My 4th string broke and when I replaced it, I noticed that the C pedal is higher and I can't get it in tune using the adjustment on the end plate.
Is there something else I need to look for?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Randy,
I'd say you've got the wrong gauge on there. My fourth string is .014. |

Hi Michael,
No, it's the right guage. That's what I use.

Randy, Make sure the ball end of the old string didn't fall down in the changer and get wedged in there.

When your string broke did that little round thingy from the end of the string drop into the dohicky on the end with all the little fingers attached? That could be the problem.
Uff-Da!
P.S.: If you need to know anything technical about your sewing machine (oops, sorry, I meant to say pedal guitar) do not hesitate to ask!
