I just joined the forum this morning. I've been a lead guitar player for 27 years, borrowed a friend's Emmons Lashley Lagrande II right after New Years and became instantly addicted to pedal steel, I currently have a Stage One on order, my buddy had to pick up his Emmons friday for upcoming gigs so right now going through pedal steel withdraw.. I'm looking forward to chatting with some steel players on here!!!

Chuck, very familiar with that area, We use to play a lot in Kirksville and Memphis, and Unionville. You must be over around Edina. I'm originally from Shelby county. Larry

Chuck we played mostly the clubs, Shriners and Moose
I played for the very talented Miss Jean DeVore, and still do. Hope to meet you some day. You should try to make the Mt. Vernon, Ill. show in April, that's rreally not that far for you. Larry

I was just reading about the Mt Vernon show, I need to make a road trip there anyway, there's a guy near there with a 1970 s-10 Emmons push/pull that I'm thinking about
BTW if your band ever needs a lead player hollar @ me, I'm not playing much right now
