I felt really honored to play on a record called, Let It Burn, by a wonderful soul/gospel type singer from Austin last summer and it just came out a few days ago on Blue Corn Music. Ruthie Foster is a sublime interpreter. She treats each song in her own special way. The rhythm section from the Funky Meters is on it as well as Ike Stubblefield and the Blind Boys of Alabama. I'm not trying to make any money by plugging it, no residual clause for me, just letting people know.
