Marty Stuart wrote and performed "Waiting On Sundown" the Sundowner's theme song on tonight's Marty Stuart Show. Great string arrangement. Way to go Marty Stuart. Shades of the 50's theme songs. |

I agree with you, Marty is doing his
best to keep traditional country music
current. Great show, I hope that RFD and
Marty and everyone involved make a fortune from it.....

It would have been great to hear the steel. Some shows have the steel up in the mix, some do not. That show was a not.I could not hear the steel the entire program. Why does Leroy Troy always come through loud and clear???

The Marty Stuart Show is recorded, mixed, and broadcast in Stereo. The steel is hard panned to the right channel, so if your TV isn't getting the right channel, or isn't reproducing it correctly, then you will miss the steel. Trust me it is mixed fairly hot, and if you solo the right channel about all you hear is the steel and the bass.
Leroy Troy, who wasn't even on this weeks show, is mixed dead center. So if you aren't getting one side, left or right channel, you can always hear Leroy. _________________ http://www.oldbluesound.com/about.htm
