I bought this 6 string guitar 17 years ago in a music store in Hawaii. Does anyone know when and where they were manufactured?

Thanks.

I know almost nothing about the Guyatone lap steel line. I know they were manufactured in Japan by the Guya Guitar Company (might be Guya Musical Instrument Company) sometime after World War II.

One of my female students has a 6 string Guyatone, (blonde...the guitar, not the student), and to me, it looks like a FENDER, sounds like a FENDER. Good quality, heavy construction. I would recommend it if you are considering purchase.
