Anyone got one laying around the the threads are good in? I have an elderly friend that needs one and he doesn't have internet access. No one at Seymours will return my calls so he's out of the picture. Anyone out there that might have a good one?
Thanks,
W

John beat me to it: Helicoils you probably could do it yourself or have a mechanic do it. He may do it for a beer and a tune.

Another way you can do it is to drill and tap an oversize hole. Say if it's a #8 hole there now, you drill it out with the drill needed for a #10 hole and then tap a # 10 thread and problem fixed. You'll have to widen out the holes in the guitar body as well.
(I am assuming this is the keyhead)

Brent
I think WC is saying he needs the end plate the hole where the leg screws in is bad.

WC
Talked to Bobby Bowman he doesn't have one.

This is a message from a friend if you cant find Micheals number or reach him I'll work on getting it.
He is on the Forum out of Tuson AZ

I tell ya, his best bet is probably talking Michael Yahl into getting one made for him. I've had nothing but great, super satisfactory transactions with him. I've ordered from him several times, each time, ships next day. I know he doesn't have endplates on hand, but I'm sure he'd be better off getting Michael on the case, than anyone else....Hope that helps...
