Hatfield Rain Band Featuring Dawn Jackson

A few months after I got my Jackson Steel, I got a cd of a band called Hatfield Rain. The band was fronted by Dawn Jackson, who works with the Jackson Steel Guitar Co. The cd is absolutely awesome! Their styles of music vary a little bit because it's a combination of country, blues, and a little bit of rock. Their steel player is a guy named Ted Stern-he plays steel, slide guitar, and fiddle. Dawn's vocals on the cd are absolutely incredible and the musicianship on the cd is awesome!

Very nice recording......I really like the songs and eclectic nature of the cd......the vocals are excellent......the steel is not predominant but what there is, is nicely done......thumbs up.....thanks Brett......
