Dear Friends:

The March 2012 Texas Jamboree in Dallas will be here very soon and we hope to see you there. It is also time to remind everyone that we will be raising money for the TSGA Benevolent Fund. This fund has allowed us to give assistance over the years to many musicians and their families across the country. I know that their hearts send back thanks and gratitude.

Being a contributor to the Benevolent Funds, a receiver of assistance or both, we are all blessed by this generous act of kindness. We certainly appreciate everyone who contibutes in any way to this Benevolent Fund.
Please have any items you wish to donate ready for Dee Polish and myself, Barbara Rosetta, when you arrive in Dallas. Remember, we have auctions for many items throughout the show until Saturday afternoon. Some items will be available at our table on silent auction, so come by and bid on some great things. We will sell tickets for a dobro that will be given away on Saturday night(the dobro will be signed by all steel players from the main show), and Saturday night is our big 50/50 contribution so be ready for the fun. In addition, we accept cash donations from yourself or in memory of someone.

A queen size red, blue and gold quilt (Star Design) was created and donated to the Benevolent Fund by Dorene Zumsteg this year. Friends, this is a "one of a kind" quilt. Each of the 12 star designs has the original signature of one of the following steel guitar masters: Buddy Emmons, Paul Franklin, Buck Granthan, Randy Beavers, Lloyd Green, Russ Hicks, Doug Jernigan, Mike Johnson, JayDee Maness, Weldon Myrick, Larry Sasser and Tommy White.
Tickets for this quilt will be available at the TSGA Benevolent Fund Table at the Dallas Show and also ONLY for persons that cannot attend the show we are offering ticket sales from February 1 thru February 29 from: Barbara Rosetta, 2210 S Bourque Dr., Nederland, TX 77627 or Dee Polish, 610 Brownlee Dr.SW, Concord, NC 28025.
Only checks or money orders made payable to the TSGA Benevolent Fund will be accepted. We will fill out your tickets and include them in the drawing in Dallas on Saturday night. NO money for tickets thru the mail will be accepted after February 29, mail will be returned to sender. You DO NOT have to be present to win the quilt. Ticket prices are: $5 each, 6 for $25 or 25 tickets for $100.

Don't forget, ALL donated items help us raise money for the Benevolent Fund so we can assist musicians and their families in need.

After the Dallas show we will be posting a big thank you to each vendor or person who makes a contribution to the Benevolent Fund.
Please stop by our booth to say hello and help us make this a very successful year.

Thank you,
Barbara Rosetta

This picture of this "one of a kind" quilt with orginal signatures of 12 of the steel guitars masters does not do justice to this beautiful piece of true art work quilted by Dorene Zumsteg.
Do not miss your opportunity to purchase tickets if you cannot attend from either Barbara Rosetta or Dee Polish at the addresses on the orginal post with the price of the tickets and the dates you may purchase the tickets. Pre-purchased tickets are ONLY for those who cannot attend. We will sell tickets to those who attend the show at the TSGA Benevolent Fund Table.

Thank you for all who donate either your time, monies or products for this worthy cause.

The quilt is a "one of a kind" keepsake. Twelve of steel guitar's greatest have autographed it. It doesn't get any better than that !!!!

Hi Barbara and Dee,

Peterson Tuners will be happy to donate a Stomp Classic and a StroboClip for the Benevolent Fund. We greatly admire how the TSGA takes care of their members when help is needed.

See you in Dallas,
Sue
