I think most parts are symmetrical, but Methinks not this one:

I bet they probably used the same ones, just put them on backwards. Have you got pics?
If they need McGyvering, I bet Michael can do it for you.
Chances are he'd enjoy it. Give him a call. But wait til morning.

Hopefully this will work out...I think if I put em on backwards,the little slit would be under part of the body of the guitar, unable to connect to the pedal rod...
