It was a year ago today that Buddy left this life. May he rest in peace.

I have to say, I have a medicine bottle full of Buddy's picks and his hat and I treasure them. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

I also took lessons from 'Buddy' His studio was about an hour from where my folks lived and my dad ferried me one Saturday afternoon, I remember taking the lesson on an Emmons LeGrande II and had such a nice time with Buddy, he even gave me an autographed picture (which still hangs in my studio today)What a nice memory that was, a very nice man and Teacher.

I took lessons from Buddy when I could. He was great to spend time with. A few months before he passed away, I took a producer friend up with me to Billy Coopers. We took a protools setup and a great Telefunken mic. Buddy recorded a psg track on a song of mine. He was so humble and accommodating. I had to talk him into letting me pay him a fair fee for recording! You think Buddy is up there teaching the angels how to tune their harps to C6? |
