Hi Evelyn . I just got off the phone with Dennis wife Patty . She told me they were going to the funeral home at 1:00 pm. today to make arrangements . She told me they would have his showing Tuesday evening at Victorious Living Christian Center on Columbus Street in Grove City Ohio . His funeral will be Wednesday . He will be taken care of by Newcomers Funeral Home in Grove City . I don't know all the times as of yet but i will look on the website of Newcomers to see this afternoon . Dennis has been one of the top steel players in Ohio for many years . He was the Vice President of the Ohio Steel Guitar Association at it's conception . Dennis has done many steel guitar shows across the country and is well known by his friends . We will miss him for sure . We have known Dennis and his family for many years now . Dennis gave me some steel lessons when i first started playing steel in 1976 . His family is multi talented when it comes to music . We wish all the family the best and pray that God will comfort them in their loss . God bless the Robison family . Gary . P.S. If you want to check for yourself just type Newcomers Funeral Home Grove City Ohio and you can see the obits . for yourself . The information should be there this afternoon . G.P.

Gary,
Sorry I missed you call today, I can remember
Dennis from back in the late '70's too.
First time I saw him, he played the song "Exodus"
He played an old "Clark" pedal steel guitar and he never used his case, just carried it in.
Its so sad to hear that he passed.

Rick

Sorry to hear about Dennis. I've known him since the 60s when we were both trying to get a handle on pedal steel. I got to see him play a few times at the St.Louis show. That's a real shock.

Dennis and his family were always faithful supporters of the Gospel Steel Guitar Assn. and we have been dear friends across several years. He will be greatly missed. As has been mentioned, his version of Exodus was his signature song. We are blessed to have him and the family on several of the GSGA videos. My wife and I will be driving in from Indiana tomorrow evening for the viewing and to be there to support the family. This was so sudden, but we know that God is still in control and Dennis is in a better place.

I remember hearing Dennis play " Via De la Rosa " at a Gospel steel show and was blown away. I bugged him for a long time to record it, which he finally did. If anyone has not heard it , get it. Beautiful steel work.
Dennis, Rest In Peace My Friend,
Earl
