Jack, at least you were listening, LOL. Erlene Tubb sent me a note via facebook Sunday and told me about the show. I would have loved to have heard it.

Hey Johnny!

You probably don't remember me but we met in the early 80's at a club called "Real Country"!

I was in Nashville doing a studio gig with a band at Reflections recording studio!
Gene Lawson adn Ronnie Light sent us there one night and said i would see and awesome steel player and a killer guitar player!

It was you and Brent Mason was there! I think Jan "Blind Drummer" was playing with you guys. You blew me away. I also heard Jerry Reid which played for Tillis! You guys treated me like i was an old friend!
I miss Jerry and what an awesome guy he was!
I was talking with Randy Mason not long ago and we laughed about them playin there!

Anyways, love your playin man! Would love to meet ya again! I play steel with Marshall Tucker on most big shows so we are suppose to be back at the Ryman again they tell me!
All the best man!!!!.....kenny

I remember hearing ET introduce Johnny to sing that song live on the Midnight Jamboree one time. Where has time gone!
