very interesting design. i like things like this.

only thing that i do not care for is the string angle at the bridge from the tuner to the saddles on the outside strings. any way to lessen that??...different machine head set up.. maybe a retaining piece behind the bridge that would sum up the strings to a straighter pull across the saddles.

you must have a heck of a cut in the saddles to keep the strings from popping out while playing.

best to you with your design. its tough to go against the grain with things like this.

untouched stock tune-o-matic from allparts, the break angle to the tuners provide enough downward presure that the strings stay put

You say "designed with...steel player in mind" Is that because it is designed to be comfortable to play while seated behind a PSG?

I had a Breadwinner, could absolutely NOT play it sitting down. I think the bottom scoop would've fit someone about eight foot nine. Bought it for about $100 and sold for about the same, now they get a couple thousand I've been told.

"now they get a couple thousand I've been told."

That's good news – I have a really nice Deacon (the fancy version) sitting in my closet, not knowing what it was worth. Very Happy

By the way, this one looks like a lot of fun and well worth trading for.
