Jimmy the Roland site says there is no way to reset the internal Rom settings on the GR-50. I had one a long time ago and I think that it is inexcusable that Roland never implemented a way to reset it to factory settings. The GR-50 is a very complicated MIDI module and was and still is known as one of the fastest pitch to MIDI converters that Roland ever made s long as you used the internal synth. Sorry I couldn't find any more info for you. The only possibility to get it back to factory settings as far as I know is to find someone that has a card for one with all the original settings backed up on it.

Here's a link to a zipped midi file of the factory patches. You'll need to download it, unzip it and put into a midi file player. If you have the manual, you should be able to find the instructions in there on how to send a midi file to the GR-50.

Good luck!
