Hi Elizabeth, Looks real good but I think on line 2
the (B) should be moved up 1 fret or changed to (Bb)
I hope I've got it right. Enjoy a Merry Christmas.

If you can not just place your bar on a fret and name the open chord in the no or open pedal position then don't move on to this lesson yet. It's very important one understand this to move forward. Next month 7th chords.

Do--RĂ©--Mi--Fa--Sol--La--Si--Do
C---D---E---F----G---A---B---C
1---2---3---4----5---6---7---1 (octave higher)
*-------*---------*-------*

common chord progression in the key of C :
1 = C - 4 = F - 5 = G & back to the 1
a simple chord always has these basic 3 notes : * * *
the root : 1 - the third : 3 - the fifth : 5
when building chords the third determines whether the chord is happy/major = E or sad/minor = Eb (flatted third)
by adding a fourth note to the basic 3 note chord *
you have the Dominant 7th or Minor 7th = Bb (flatted 7th)
or the Maj7th = B
once you learn those you can then go on to more trouble :
the minor or major 6th chord
major or minor 9th
& the diminished, augmented, 9th, sus4, 11th, 13th, 6/9 & altered chords

correct : g c d = 1 4 5 in G
but g c f is 1 4 b7 in G
yes you are going in the right direction Jos
