Here's a lick I've always liked. I Know it was a Pat Martino Guitar lick that Emmons adapted to the C6th for use with other stuff. I tabbed this out on my facebook page and sent it to my friend James Crow Bear Schmitt that had requested I tab it for him. I'll be the first to tell ya my playing isn't up to par with how I usually play but you get the point. WC

James posted the tab I sent him below in another post, Thanks

Would it be possible to post the tab for this cool run in the Tablature section?

Hi W.C., nice playing.

The first part of that lick is simply major triads played a tritone apart, so it would be CMaj-F#Maj-CMaj-F#Maj or C E G F# A# C# C E G F# A# C#. I've been playing this lick for years, but I don't remember the source of it--I think maybe Buddy DeFranco. I play it on lap steel, but it can get a little tricky, so I've learned to do it in as many ways as possible, playing it on 3 strings at a time and then 2.

Beautiful. I'd like to know what pedals / levers you used from 1.14 to 1.17. Thank you

I tabbed this out and then sent it to James and he posted it.
On a standard C6th setup, keep the 7th pedal down from the start until you get to the 12th position. When you slide up to the 12th release pedal 7 and the rest of the lick is open with no pedals or knees.
ALSO REMEMBER you MUST have a D on the top string!!

Ferdi-nando amico mio
at 1:13, WC is playing on fret 8 strings 3 to 9 w: P6 add P7 then release it & slide down to the Cmaj on fret 7 strings 3 to 9 to resolve
at 1:18 w: the bar still on fret 7, WC plays those same last notes (Cma7) behind the bar (left side of it)
that what gives it that chiming sound
WC's got all kinds of tricks that he picked up from his buddies & our heroes
ask C#, he'll fill ya' in Winking

Thank you James. I thought the chord was performed by pressing the pedals 6 / 7 in combination.
