I wounder witch E tuning I will put on my T8 and I would like to be able to play boogie and rockabilly guitar rythm on it.
I like this one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX_UR7UeJzA&feature=related
And the Buddy's boogie from Mike Neer.
I hesitate between E9 and E13
At firth E9 look better to me because of the low E and B (E B D E F# G# B E) look like easier to play boogie bass and travis picking but maybe I just don't see the advantages of the E13 (E G# D F# G# B C# E) for rhythm?
Thanks a lot guys for your help, its very appreciated! |

The E9 I use is different than what you listed:
E
B
G#
F#
D
B
G#
E
You lose the E in the middle and add the G# for string 7.
With that E13, you can get a lot more chords and it is also great for single note playing, but it requires a lot of attention to your picking (which you should do anyway). _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |
