I was curious to know if anyone has tried the new lightweight power amps from Peavey in a rack unit for steel.
thanks,

I'm curious, too. No reason to close this, Billy.

I am using a 1600 right now in my rack. I have had no problems with it. Its clean sounding. Since my amp rack is on my speakers, the blue light doesn't bother me. It weighs in at around eight pounds. So far its been very reliable. I have no regretts buying it.

I asked this a couple of days ago. Check that for a few answers that might be of interest.
