For some of the best in classic country, tune in to this little station in Dublin Tx. KEQX 89.7 FM.
24 hours of country music, the good stuff.

Thanks.

Music selection fine but distortion way higher than what I can enjoy listening to. Is it supposed to sound so bad?

Country Gold 106 is an internet radio station that plays traditional country music. They also play cuts from my steel guitar CD.

Jim - KEQX has been my #1 station for a while now. Nothing fancy, all country right down to the local promos. It doesn't hurt that the station is just around the corner from me.

Have checked with others (on faster connections) that the distortion problem is not caused by anything at/near my end of the chain, and there definitely is much too much overdrive-distortion on what comes over the web from http://www.keqx897.com. Pity the distortion completely ruins the experience, as the music is otherwise good.

when the console comes up there is a circle with a small speaker in the center. there is a + in the top right corner and a - in the right lower corner. this one lowers the volume use it to lower the volume as i did and it cleared up he sounds Very Happy

Jerry, adjusting volume was the first thing I did, and it has zero effect on distortion caused by overdrive at the source.
