Used 2 piece carpet covered case set. This was made for my Franklin D-10 but will fit some other brands. The case material is 3/8" and 1/2" standard plywood.
A local steeler wanted it for his D-10 Excel, which he tried and it fit, but he has backed out due to needing $$ for more pressing needs.
Inside dimensions and pictures will be posted later.
Price $150.00 PLUS UPS Shipping. Estimated shipping, and this is a very rough estimate is $40 - may be more or less and only actual shipping will be charged. If it can be shipped to a business address that reduces shipping costs over a residential delivery.
I can take paypal.

I have one inquiry about the cases, pending pictures. With current schedule it will probably be Wednesday before I can get pictures and post.
If somone else wants on the list let me know or post here.

Here is the additional info and pictures on the cases.
Steel Case, weight 20 lbs. Inside dimensions 11 1/8" wide by 33 3/8" long and 4" deep (to the 1" foam pad). There are 1 1/4" blocks at one end which provides space for the neck switch on a Franklin. The blocks can be easily removed if needed. This also sets it away from the pop rivet that holds the lid brace so the steel never touches it and not a problem. There is a 1" foam pad covered with red crushed velvet for the steel to sit on (this is how Franklin cases are made). The inside of the lid has "egg crate" foam.
Leg Case, weight is 10 lbs. Has "egg crate" foam on both inside top and bottom.

I had an inquiry on whether a certain brand steel would fit in the case. Other than another Franklin and an older D-10 Excel, I don't have any info on other brands. I posted the inside dimensions (as close as I can), use those to compare with the dimensions of whatever steel you want to put in it. |
