Made it home about 9:15PM. had a great time. Charlie Tilley really put on a great show. His MC work was fun to watch. As always, Austin Stewart and Grandpa Jerry brought the house down. Grandma Donna was great on her vocal. A super back up band, guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard. Me following Austin Stewart was like following a steam shovel with a spoon. I had a great time and thanks to my friend Texas Slim Jackson for singing on my part of the show. Was great to see so many old friends and talking about old times. Thanks to the overflow crowd for coming. See you down the road, Jody.

Jody thanks for your tireless efforts in support of steel guitar. Nina and I had to go to Stephenville and couldn't make the show. We sure missed seeing you again. God bless and take care!

The East Texas Steel Guitar Association is happy to have had Jerry, Donna and Austin alomg with my good friend Jody Sanders for such a great show yesterday in Tyler. We had a crowd of close to 100 in attendance and you could tell by their foot tappin' that they were having a good time. The last song of the show was "Orange Blossom Special" by Austin Stewart and Jerry just got up from his guitar and took a seat in the audience to marvel at Austin's talent.
That was right after he handed me his picks and bar as if I was to compete with Austin.
NO WAY JOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These folks traveled a long distance to play for us. They are great people who love the steel guitar.

Next month on December 17th. we will have our Christmas party featuring Mr. Bob McCormick from Nashville, Tenn. There will be plenty of good food, fellowship and music to go around. Mark your calender to attend.

See www.etsga.org for all the information.

Charles, We want to thank you and your club for all you did for us. We had a GREAT time. The crowd was good and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Thanks for having us.

Jody, Sorry we had to leave before you got thru, but we had a long drive home. It was good to see you again. Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.
