A good aluminum welder could fix that up for you. |

I had some welding done on an Emmons end plate a couple of years ago. The prior owned had drilled some extra holes in it. I had them plugged and then filed down and polished the excess weld. It is hard to match things up perfectly but I was well satisfied with the end results. |

Ricky, Well I hate to admit it but I broke it. It wasn't close to the body so I took it off and thought I could give it a little tweek and it broke. Right now I have a machine shop trying to weld it and I am heading to get it now. We'll see how that turns out. Talk about a bad hair day,eh...Ken |

Well sorry that happened....you meant well..ha..> but Sho~bud never used a measuring tape...ha....and I certainly will live with a gap before trying to relocate an endplate....ah...ha...> Hope the welding shop did a good job...yes let us know.

I had a local machine shop weld it and it turned out real nice. It did cost me a 100 bucks which I thought was reasonable and they buffed it out and everything. Here's a pic of it and the guitar.
